Daylily day..er evening

Wow, what a bunch of excellent flowers! Definitely a mix of techniques and approaches, but all of them very well executed. Sarah was fearlessly colorful, as usual. Ricki fearlessly used lots of buttery paint which was just lovely. Catherina wrestled with the drawing and won with a very nicely rendered flower with lots of depth. Joyce gave in to her playful side and produced a wonderfully different flower. Very soft, very playful, and very refreshing! Brenda was fearless tonight in her attack on these flowers and produced one of her best paintings (not surprising that it's a flower!). Theresa produced a most lovely painting with a very dynamic feel to it. Loved the application in it's oil pastel appearance. Very nice. And Alyssia nailed the color in her painting. She managed to not only represent forms and color, but atmosphere, too. Such a lovely painting of flowers in the gloaming.
