Tonight was all about paint application. We blocked in our skies and then we did some intro to palette knives practicing before we tackled the rocks. I'm pretty sure we all could have played with those rocks all night! Fun. After we tore ourselves away from fiddling with the knives, we went back to the practice paper to talk about trees and brushstrokes and organic lines. I think it worked! Very nice trees, ladies. Ricki gets the gold star tonight for her fantastic job of making those clouds pop in front of her blue sky. Definitely look at her painting and ask yourself why that sky works so well. Nicely done.
