We explored the still life through the eyes of one of the masters tonight. "Still Life with Apples" by Paul Cezanne. It was interesting to follow a master's footsteps and get glimpse of some of his inspiration this time rather than interpret a photo. It was a little like working in reverse. Very educational, though, and the evening spawned some lovely paintings.
